Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine whether the financial performance of the area that is proscribed with the ratio of self-reliance and capital expenditure ratio affects the welfare of the community that is proscribed with the Human Development Index (HDI).The data in this study provides secondary data obtained directly from BPKAD office in West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) and on the website of Indonesian Central Board of Statistics with fiscal year 2012-2016. The research uses a data panel analysis with Eviews 9 analysis tool.
The results showed that the simultaneous and partial ratio of financial self-reliance to the region affects the Human Development Index (HDI) and the simultaneous and partial capital expenditure ratio affects the human development Index (HDI).
