Abstract

This study entitled "ANALYSIS OF FACTORS AFFECTING INTEREST IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP (Case Study on Students Palembang in Yogyakarta)". The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the availability of capital, the family environment, freedom of work, self-confidence, the level of risk-taking, and the originality of the interests of students Palembang to entrepreneurship. This study is the dependent variable and the independent variable interest Entrepreneurship is availability of capital, family environment, freedom works, confidence, retrieval rate risk, and originality. The sample used in this study were 104 respondents with purposive sampling method. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to students from the region who are members of the organization Palembang in South Sumatra IKPM ( Association of Students of South Sumatra).
The results of this study showed that the family environment, confidence and originality significantly affect the interest in entrepreneurship, while the availability of capital, freedom of work and the level of risk taking did not significantly affect the interest in entrepreneurship. Test F shows that the availability of capital, the family environment, freedom of work, self-confidence, the level of risk-taking and originality together have an influence on interest in entrepreneurship.
