Abstract

The research was titled "The INFLUENCE OF EXTERNAL factors AND INTERNAL
factors on the PERFORMANCE OF SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (SMES) IN D.I.
YOGYAKARTA". The purpose of this research is to know the influence of external factors and
internal factors on the performance of Small and medium enterprises (SMES) in D.I.
Yogyakarta. The research on this dependent variable is the SMB performance and its
independent variables are external factors and Internal factors. The samples used in this study
as much as 100 used the Partial Least Square (PLS) method and the sampling technique using
non-Probability sampling with the accidental type. This research Data is obtained through a
questionnaire that is answered directly by the respondent.
The results of this study were derived that external factors have no effect on external
factors. External factors have significant effect on small and medium business performance
while Internal factors have no effect on small business performance and willed.
