Abstract

This thesis, entitled "FACTORS AFFECTING NON-MUSLIM CUSTOMERS' INTEREST IN CHOOSING SHARIA PAWNSHOPS IN THE SPECIAL REGION OF YOGYAKARTA(DIY)", is the result of quantitative research that aims to find out whether Location Factors, Easy and Fast Process Requirements, Sharia, Products, Ujrah Rates affect customer interest choose sharia pawnshop in DIY. The population in this study is non-Muslim customers of sharia pawnshop special
branch offices in Yogyakarta. The sample in this study will be taken by respondents around one branch office in each district in DIY. The step for sampling is the Non Probability technique.
This research is a type of field research (field research) using quantitative research methods. The data used by researchers are primary data. Data collection
was carried out by means of a questionnaire and a few questions and answers to respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling nonprobability by applying several criteria, with 61 respondents. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis with the t test and the coefficient of determination, as well as the f test processed through the SPSS version 20.0 program with a sign level of 5%.
Based on the results of research using multiple analysis test tools, the results of this study indicate that the Location Factor does not affect the interests of non-Muslim customers in choosing sharia pawnshop services, the Easy and Quick Process factors have no effect on the interests of non-Muslim customers in choosing sharia pawnshop services , Sharia Factor influences the interest of nonMuslim customers in choosing sharia pawnshop services, Product Factor does not affect the interest of non-Muslim customers choosing sharia pawnshop services,
Ujrah Tariff Factor influences the interest of non-Muslim customers in choosing sharia pawnshop services in DIY.
