Abstract
Poverty is a problem that is generally encountered in almost all developing countries, especially the densely populated countries such as Indonesia. Poverty occurs due to the difference in resources or economic disparities against community groups as well as the low level of human development indicators. This happens also in Kulon Progo Regency, a Regency that has a percentage of the poverty levels are quite high in some districts and some notes, data showed in 2018 poverty in Kulon Progo of 51,622 ( inhabitants) population is made up of 12 districts and 88 villages. This research aims to know the influence of the development of the village the village Fund, and empowerment of village community against the miskinan population in Kulon Progo Regency.
This research was qualitative in nature using secondary data obtained from the Office of community empowerment and the village Population Control and family planning Kulon Progo Regency which consists of 88 villages and cross section data is a data consists of one or more variables that are collected at the same time. The independent variable in this study was the development of village Shopping Village, and shopping village on the empowerment of village community, while the dependent variable is the poor population. The analysis was done using SPSS tools.
The results of this study indicate that; 1) village Fund for construction of the village to a poor population decline. 2) village Fund for community empowerment to poor residents of the village. Because its the village Fund provided by the Central Government through the local Government used optimally and right on target in accordance with the programs that are run either by the establishment of the area or village.
