Abstract

This study aims to (1) Test the feasibility of a visualization tool for transient
symptoms of smartphone-based RC circuits. (2) Test the feasibility of a smartphone-based RC
circuit transient visualization module. The product development method used in this study is
Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. There are five stages carried out,
namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection
technique used was a questionnaire. The subjects of this study were students of Physical
Education at Ahmad Dahlan University. The thing that distinguishes this study from previous
research is the use of smartphones to display visualization of capacitor charging and discharge
capacitors. The results of data analysis in this study obtained a capacitance value of 9.78% and
a correlation of 0.97254196. The results of the feasibility of practicum tools in this study for
the feasibility test of practicum tools were 87.18% in the good category, the feasibility test for
the practicum guides was 88.02% in the good category, and the feasibility test for the user's
response was 91.39% in the good category. Thus it can be concluded that practicum tools in
the form of tools and manuals are suitable for use in learning activities.
