Abstract

According to Minister of Public Works regulation No. 26 of 2008, fire
hazard is a hazard caused by a potential threat and the degree of exposure to fire from
the beginning of the fire to the spreading of the fire, smoke and gases generated.
Hospital is a building that has a risk of fire. This is due to the diverse nature of the work
that exists in that place starting from medical activities, the uses of electrical equipment,
activities that use intensive fire sources such as the kitchen and short-circuit. In addition
there are various kinds of chemicals that have flammable, explosive and oxidation
chemicals that can cause fires. The aim of this research was to knowing fire disaster
preparedness at PKU Muhammadiyah Wonosobo Hospital.
