Abstract

Teluk Penyu Beach is one of the tourism objects in Cilacap which became
icon of Cilacap city. Teluk Penyu Turtle Beach is located in Cilacap City, Cilacap
Regency, Central Java is 2 km eastwards from the central government of Cilacap
Regency and affordable by public transportation. Teluk Penyu Beach is one of the
tourist attractions in the area that has generated more revenue than the other tourism
objects, seen by the number of visitors who come. Physical management/facilities
that are available at Teluk Penyu Beach are insufficient. The Branding strategy
implemented by the Youth Service, Olhraga and tourism makes Gulf turtle beaches
bustling with the breeding.
This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive type. The subject of
this study is the field of analysis of the conservation, sport and Regency of Cilacap,
implementing the promotion of Youth department, Sports and Tourism of Cilacap
Regency and visitors of Cilacap Bay beach. Meanwhile, the object of this research is
a stratgei branding applied by Cilacap Teluk Penyu Beach. The research thaw with
the collection of data through in-depth interviews, then outlined in a desktiptif. Data
collection techniques that researchers use are interviews, non-participatory
observation, and documentation.
The results showed that the Branding strategy of the Youth Service, sports
and Tourism of Cilacap Regency has been running well. Seen by the number of end
of tourist attraction Bay of Cilacap Teluk Penyu that has gained a lot more compare
to other attractions. Similarly, the media used to appear in all media, but social media
that has a big role in the branding . Then the problem about physical
processing/facilities that are insufficient will soon be realized well with the
management of the Kodim.
