Abstract

LASA (Look Alike Sound Alike) is drugs that have similar names,
appearance and utterances and need to be aware of so that errors do not occur in the
taking of drugs (Dispersing Error) by Pharmacists. One of the duties of the
Pharmacist at the Pharmacy is to arrange the drug LASA well to prevent medication
errors. The purpose of this study was to determine the Pharmacist's knowledge and
structuring of LASA drugs, and to determine the relationship between the
Pharmacist's length of time and his knowledge and the relationship between the
Pharmacist's knowledge and the arrangement of LASA medicines.
This type of research is analytic observational research. The study was
conducted on 15 September 2018 until 22 September 2018 in the Pharmacy Districts
of Umbulharjo District and Kotagede Yogyakarta The samples used in this study
were 17 pharmacists in charge of pharmacy or companion pharmacists who worked
at 17 different pharmacy locations. The data obtained were scored and analyzed
using the chi square test to see the relationship between the relationship between the
Pharmacist's length of service and his knowledge and the relationship between the
Pharmacist's knowledge and the arrangement of LASA drugs.
The results of this study showed 59% good knowledge, 41% less good. 35%
did well, 65% were not good, There was no significant relationship between
knowledge and arrangement (p = 0.129) and there was also no relationship between
length of work and knowledge (p = 0.115).
The conclusion of the research is that the knowledge of pharmacists about
LASA medicine is good, but the arrangement of LASA medicine is not good. There is
no significant relationship between the pharmacist's knowledge with the arrangement
of drugs and there is also no significant relationship between the duration of work
with the pharmacist's knowledge of LASA drugs.
