Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of developing an environmental education
module based on the integration of Islam and science on the theme of "Our Friends of
Environment" which is feasible and can be used as a support for independent learning.
This research is a development study that refers to the Borg & Gall model, but only to the
7th stage. The subjects of the trial were 23 students of class V MI Al-Khoiriyah and 2
teachers. Tested as many as 2 stages, the initial field trial phase 1 teacher and 8 students
of MI Al-Khoiriyah VB class, and the field trial phase of 1 teacher and 15 VA MI AlKhoiriyah class students. Data collection techniques use a questionnaire in the form of a
questionnaire. Data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that the
environmental education module based on the integration of Islam and science on the
theme of "our best friend's environment" was appropriate to use. This is evidenced from
the results of the product assessment conducted by material experts showing that the
environmental education module is very good (92.5), the results of the assessment of
learning expert products indicate that the environmental education module is very good
(86.8), the results of the media expert assessment showed that the environmental education
module was very good (79.1), the results of the initial field trials were very good teacher
ratings (94.4) and student responses (92.7), the results of field trials were very good
teacher ratings (91.6) and student responses (98.3). From all assessments of experts,
teachers, and students of the environmental education module based on the integration of
Islam-science on the theme of "our best friend's environment", getting an average rating of
90.7 with the category "very good" and can be said to be worthy of being used as a support
for educational learning living environment
