Abstract

TracheostomymeasureswillincreaseasthenumberofICUpatientsincreases.Themainindicationfortracheostomyinintensivecarepatientsistoreducedeadspaceandreducetheriskoflaryngealdamageduetolong-termintubation.IntheeraoftheCovid-19pandemic,tracheostomyproceduresrequireconsiderationofthebenefitsforpatientsandtheriskofspreadingthevirusthatendangershealthworkers.Inthiscase,itisreportedthattheimplementationofatracheostomywithasafeprocedureinpatientswithsevereCovid-19infectionandcomplicationsofstomableeding6daysafterthetracheostomyprocedurewithriskfactorsfortheuseofheparinanti-coagulantdrugs.
