Abstract
This study aims to improve the ability of students completing math problems in the form ofa story by using realistic mathematical approach to the sixth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun A Poor Bantul. This research is a class roo, action research subjects were students of class VIA numbered 30 students. The results of observations of teaching sixth grade math teacher Ambarbinangun A SD Muhammadiyah showed that the main factors causing the problem is less varied and teacher learning is not meaning ful.
