Abstract

Taharah (purification) is the gateway to the admissibility of (validity of) some of worship that require purity. Purification as a condition of worship is something that is very important for a Muslim. Errors in purification will result in the validity of a worship. Purification is right to be taught from childhood, because of errors in childhood will always be carried away once the person is an adult. Many students/santri at Omah Ngaji Yogyakarta, do many ablution practices that are not suitable/less perfect than what the Prophet taught. The Muhammadiyah Tarjih has provided guidelines for correct purification according to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This training seeks to improve understanding of the procedure for purification as decided by the Muhammadiyah Tarjih. The training methods through the video based of learning, lectures, simulations and practices. Training results showed a significant increase in the understanding of the procedures of purification according to the Legal Affairs Committee of Muhammadiyah. Conclusion The community service is an increased understanding of the knowledge and skills can be improved through the correct video viewing activity, as one can see and hear the material directly.
