Abstract

Safety Riding is an effort made to reduce the level of risk of driving. Online motorcycle taxi
drivers' knowledge of safety riding is classified as poor, as can be seen from the ignorance
of online motorcycle taxi drivers about the completeness of driving attributes, and their
driving attitude still often violates traffic signs. Online ojek drivers still often carry more
than one passenger, and there are still drivers who carry goods that exceed the standard
load set by GOJEK. The purpose of the study was to determine the Relationship between
Knowledge and Attitudes with Safety Riding Compliance by Online Ojek Riders "GOJEK" at
the Yogyakarta "GOJAJAN" Association. This research is a quantitative research with an
analytic observational design with a cross sectional approach. The research sample for
online motorcycle taxi drivers at the GOJAJAN Association is 30 respondents and uses
primary data. The sample technique uses total sampling with the research instrument used
is a modified adoption questionnaire. Data analysis using chi squareIt was found that there
was a relationship between online motorcycle taxi drivers' knowledge and safety riding
compliance (P-Value 0.035). The attitude of online motorcycle taxi drivers with safety
riding compliance (P-Value 0.026). It is recommended for online ojek driver to understand
more about safety riding especially traffic rules and signs.
