Abstract

This research aims to analyze the procedures for handling Non-Performing Financing (NPFs) through litigation at Bank Muamalat DIY. This study is motivated by the complexity and significance of Non-Performing Financings (NPFs) in Mudharabah transactions at Bank Muamalat DIY. As one of the sharia financial institution, Bank Muamalat is chosen as the focus of research to examine the strategies for handling Non-Performing Financing (NPFs). The success of Bank Muamalat in overcoming this problem is essential for increasing public confidence in the sharia financial system. Ultimately, this research intends to contribute to a practical and academic understanding regarding the analysis of procedures for handling Non-Performing Financings (NPFs) through litigation at Bank Muamalat DIY. Bank Muamalat has made a remarkable accomplishment in resolving Non-Perfofming financings (NPFs) in Mudharabah transactions through a planned approach, comprehensive evaluation, customer education, and regular monitoring However, challenges arise during renegotiation and mediation, requiring precision and persistence in the legal process. Risk management and repressive actions are the fundamentals of the success of Bank Muamalat DIY in avoiding potential losses in terms of finance and reputation
