Abstract
Teaching English to young learners is not easy, because English is not their mother tongue and it makes it difficult for children to master English well. English teachers need to understand, know, and apply the principles, and theories of language teaching for young learners and language classroom management. This study aims to find out the challenges faced by teachers in TEYL, to find out and explain the ways the teachers overcome the challenges in TEYL, and to explain the impact of the challenges that have been overcome on the learning process.
