Abstract

Lingkungan sosial sangat berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan kepercayaan diri seseorang. Permasalahan penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang ada di mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama I slam angkatan 2022 yaitu: Pertama, adanya kesulitan beradaptasi akibat pandemi yang cukup lama. Kedua: kurangnya kepercayaan diri untuk memulai berinteraksi dengan teman baru, kurangnya kepercayaan diri ini disebabkan beberapa faktor diantaranya introvert. Ketiga: karena angkatan 2022 memasuki peralihan dari siswa menjadi mahasiswa yang tentunya memerlukan adaptasi yang lebih ekstra dimana mereka akan bertemu dengan banyak orang dilingkungan baru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat lingkungan sosial dan tingkat kepercayaan diri mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, dan apakah terdapat pengaruh lingkungan sosial terhadap tingkat kepercayaan diri mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam Universitas Ahmad Dahlan.
Metode penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif melalui populasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam angkatan 2022 sebesar 187 mahasiswa yang terdiri 84 mahasiswa laki-laki dan 102 mahasiswa perempuan menggunakan probability sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 102 mahasiswa dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan angket/kuesioner. Uji yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji validitas dan reliabilitas, sedangkan untuk uji olah data menggunakan uji normalitas, linearitas dan uji regresi linear sederhana.
Hasil penelitian ini pada tingkat lingkungan sosial mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam angkatan 2022 dalam kategori sedang dengan presentase 50%, tinggi 29,4%, dan rendah 20,6%, sedangkan untuk tingkat kepercayaan diri mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam kategori sedang dengan presentase 52,9%, tinggi 14,7�n rendah 32,4%. Untuk hasil uji regresi linear sederhana pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil F hitung 51.219 dengan angka signifikansi hitung 0,000 lebih kecil dari α sehingga dapat dikatakan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pengaruh lingkungan sosial terhadap tingkat kepercayaan diri mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam angkatan 2022. Adapun besar pengaruh antara X dan Y dapat diketahui R square sebesar33,9�n memiliki tingkat hubungan sedang dengan nilai R sebesar 0,582.

The social environment is very influential on the formation of one's self-confidence. The problem of this research is motivated by the problems that exist in the 2022 class of Islamic Religious Education students, namely: First, there are difficulties in adapting due to the long pandemic. Second: lack of confidence to start interacting with new friends, this lack of confidence is due to several factors including introvet. Third: because the class of 2022 is entering the transition from students to students, which of course requires extra adaptation where they will meet many people in a new environment. This study aims to determine how much the level of social environment and the level of self-confidence of Ahmad Dahlan University Islamic Religious Education students, and to determine the effect of social environment on the level of self-confidence of Ahmad Dahlan University Islamic Religious Education students.
The research method uses a type of quantitative research with an associative approach through a population of 2022 Islamic Religious Education students totaling 187 students consisting of 84 male students and 102 female students using probability sampling so that a sample of 102 students is obtained by sampling using a questionnaire. The tests used in this study are validity and reliability tests, while for data processing tests using normality, linearity and simple linear regression tests.
The results of this study on the level of social environment of 2022 Islamic Religious Education students in the moderate category with a percentage of 50%, high 29.4%, and low 20.6%, while for the level of self-confidence of Islamic Religious Education students in the moderate category with a percentage of 52.9%, high 14.7% and low 32.4%. For the results of the simple linear regression test in this study, the results of F count 51.219 were obtained with a calculated significance figure of 0.000 smaller than α so that it can be said that there is a positive and significant influence between the influence of the social environment on the level of self-confidence of Islamic Religious Education students class of 2022. The amount of influence between X and Y can be known R square of 33.9% and has a moderate level of relationship with an R value of 0.582.
