Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic which is currently hitting several countries, including Indonesia, has led to the emergence of various policies, including physical distancing or keeping a distance, and limiting activities outside the home. All activities such as work and study are carried out at home, with the convenience of choosing food online, this study aims to examine online food selection by UAD Yogyakarta lecturers and employees during the Covid-19 work from home (WFH) period and find out what social media is used in food selection. The design of this research is a qualitative phenomenological approach using interviews with a guide list of questions. Research shows there isn't much difference between the food preferences of the new era and those before it. The use of social media increased during the pandemic, such as Instagram and TikTok. Selection of food uses a delivery service because it avoids transmitting the virus by avoiding crowds. Apart from using the delivery service, bringing lunch from home is also an option when you are WFO (Work From Office). The diet pattern between before and during the new adaptation era covid-19 pandemic was the same. Factors to be considered when choosing food are virus transmission, food safety, avoiding crowds, and the use of delivery service applications as an alternative.
