Abstract

ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the quality of the hadith narrated by Ahmad number 18945 about staying up late, and explain the relevance of its history. This study uses a qualitative approach that can be referred to as a literature or library research method. The data sources are the application of Maktabus Syamilah, literature, sharia books, and books that are in accordance with the title. The results of this study show that the law of staying up late can be said to be haram if it is used with bad things, such as gambling, drinking alcohol, scrolling of social media that is not useful and there are many other bad things that cause harm to oneself and the environment, which is why the Prophet is very disliked to stay up late if used with bad things and it can be concluded that the hadith about staying up late is of sahih quality based on the review of takhrij.
