Abstract
Economic growth is a picture of economic development in a certain time
period when compared to the previous period and the developments expressed in
the form of a percentage of national income change over a period compared with
the previous period. Economic growth is a process of increasing the production of
goods and services in the community. The population in this study were all district
and town in the province of Yogyakarta in 2013-2018. The sampling technique
used in this research is purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study
was 30 samples with district and city of Yogyakarta Special Region in 2013-2018.
Results of this study was obtained from the panel data regression test results
showed that H1 is not supported, meaning that the variable local revenue no
effect on economic growth in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Results of this
study was obtained from the panel data regression test results show that H2 is not
supported, which means that capital expenditure has influence on economic
growth in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Results of this study was obtained
from the panel data regression test results indicate that the H3 is supported,
meaning that the variable equalization fund has a positive effect on economic
growth in the Special Region Istimewa Yogyakarta. Results of this study was
obtained from the panel data regression test results indicate that the H4 is not
supported, it means that the human development index variable has no effect on
economic growth in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
