Abstract
Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) are the most common diseases associated with health problems at work and include carpal tunnel syndrome, representing 59% of the total disease records found in 2005 in Europe. Data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia found that 40.5% of workers in Indonesia had complaints of health problems related to their work and including skeletal muscle disorders of 16%. Sidoluhur village is one of the centers of the tile industry in Sleman Regency, tile workers in the village experience various complaints of pain or pain at work such as complaints on the waist, shoulders, arms, and hands. Whereas at night after work, some ordinary workers feel a stiff feeling in the back and pain in the arms and shoulders. The purpose of this study is to analyze the work posture with complaints of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) in the informal sector workers in the tile industry in Sidoluhur Village, Sleman Regency.
