Abstract
This study aims to examine the relationship between selfdetermination and classroom climate with flow on SMPN students in
Yogyakarta, the population in this study is 123 students of SMPN in
Yogyakarta. This study uses quantitative methods with psychological scale
measurement tools as data collection tools. This data collection technique
uses cluster random sampling technique. The scale used is the scale of selfdetermination, class climate scale, flow scale. Data analysis techniques
using multiple linear regression analysis techniques.
The results of the analysis of the research data indicate that there is
a positive relationship between self-determination and climate class with
flow with a correlation coefficient value p = 0.972 with a significant level of
0.000 less than (p <0.01). There is a positive relationship between selfdetermination and flow with the correlation coefficient p = 0.969 with a
significant level of 0.000 less than (p <0.01). There is a positive relationship
between class climate and flow with the correlation coefficient p = 0.575 with
a significance level of 0.000 less than (p <0.01). This shows that there is a
very significant positive relationship between self-determination and class
climate with flow in students of SMPN in Yogyakarta, the variable of selfdetermination and class climate make an effective contribution of 94.5%
