Abstract
This research is titled "Brand Image Strategy Village Tourism Krebet as an
educational tour in Bantul DIY (qualitative descriptive study of Krebet tourism
Village, Pajangan, Bantul, Yogyakarta). Krebet Tourism Village is the center of
wooden batik handicraft and is a cultural village famous for batik from wood media.
Behind the excellence of the tourism village Krebet has quite significant problems
ranging from internal and external problems. In this research, researchers aim to
find out how the brand image strategy is carried out by the organizer of the Krebet
tourism village in promoting as an educational tourism village in Bantul DIY.
The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method. Data
collection techniques performed with several stages include interviews,
observations, surveys, archival recordings, and documentation. Data analysis
techniques performed through the data reduction phases, data presentation, and
withdrawal of conclusions. Then, to test the data validity of used source
triangulation techniques.
The result of this research is expected to be a tourism village manager
Krebet has implemented the implementation of appropriate brand image strategy.
Thus, the creation of the brand image tourism Village Krebet as an educational
tourism village in Bantul DY.
