Abstract

This paper present a technique to obtain production quantity
and production sequences in a planning horizon for multi product
on a single line facility. Given holding cost and setup cost for each
product, the objective is to minimize the total inventory cost along
the planning horizon , which the desired ending inventory is zero.
The planning horizon is consist of some discrete periods. A Model
with dynamic programming approach is developed in this paper.
The performance of the proposed model is evaluated and
numerical example are presented to show the procedure of the
model to find the soluflon.
