Abstract
Abstract.
Impersonal constructions are of the two kinds i.e. the one that involves a dummy or empty subject and a cleft sentence. This paper deals with the first notion. It presents some brief analyses on a single word sentence in Spanish and on empty subject sentences either in English, Spanish, or in Indonesian. The analyses involve some ways of checking the absence of subject in respective sentences.
