Abstract

In the near future ASEAN member countries will enter global market, namely the ASEAN economic community (MEA) that will be the challenge for the people of Indonesia as one of the members of the ASEAN countries, with the enactment of MEA means competitiveness in getting a job is also higher. The quality and competence of workers in Indonesia are also expected to compete with other ASEAN member countries, Guideance and counseling as a crucial part of education is also inseparable from the global market competition, counselors are required to ably handle existing problems in a global context.
Guidance and counseling in Indonesia need for revitalization of the licensing and accreditation, this due to the existence of similarities between ASEAN Counselor lecense, so that graduates of guidance and counseling in ASEAN have ini common skill and understanding of the guidance and counseling as stated in the NCC (National Counselor Certification) in the United States. It is said that when someone wants to become a professional counselor, then must meet a minimum of 2 years of education with 100 hours of supervision and 3000 hours of work experience.
