Abstract

This study aims to develop a training module using problem solving techniques on study time
management for class VII students at SMP Negeri 4 Sewon. The type of research used in this research
is Research and Development (RnD) using a 4D model (Define, Design, Development and
Dissemination). Based on the results of interviews that have been conducted by researcher, it can be
seen that there are still many students who find the difficult to do assignments, students are not aware
of the importance of learning and lack of awareness of students to do assignments. Thus, to assist
students in learning time management, one of them is by using a training module. This research
produces a product in the form of a training module on learning time management. The result of the
material expert test obtained a score of 89.58 in the very good category, the media expert test obtained
a score of 85 in the very good category and the expert test on guidance and counseling services obtained
a score of 77 very good categories. Thus, the training module on study time management for grade VII
students of SMP Negeri 4 Sewon is feasible to use.
