Abstract

There are many kinds of traditional Indonesian street food, starting from the shape, color and taste. Street food at Angkringan Kopi Joss, has a wide variety of variants. Consumer behavior in choosing snack foods usually tends to choose cheap prices and comfortable places. Consumer behavior in choosing food can be influenced by several factors, namely education, knowledge, attitudes, gender and age. The research objective was to determine the relationship between education, knowledge, attitudes, gender and age with consumer behavior in choosing snacks at Angkringan Kopi joss along the Wongsodirjan Gedongtengen street, Yogyakarta City. This research is an observational analytic study, using a cross sectional design. Sampling was randomly selected by taking samples that happened to be available or available at the research location with a total sample of 97 respondents. Data analysis using chi-square test. There is a relationship between the level of knowledge and consumer behavior in choosing food (p value 0.006), there is no relationship with education level (p value 1,000), there is no attitude relationship (p 1,000), there is no gender relationship (p 0.638) and there is no age relationship (p 0.507) with consumer behavior in choosing snacks at Angkringan Kopi Joss along the Wongsodirjan Gedongtengen street,
Yogyakarta City.
