Abstract
The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) is a regional intergovernmental organization established in 1965 among the governments of Southeast Asian countries to promote regional cooperation in education, science and culture in the region. Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is one of the from seven field priority development education in Southeast Asia from 2015 to 2035. This is recognized by official by the ministers Southeast Asian education at the Strategic Dialogue of Education Ministers (SDEM) meeting held in Laos in September 2014. The establishment of the “SEA-TVET Consortium” is one of the strategies recommended by TVET Senior Officials from Southeast Asian countries to promote the exchange of TVET students and staff, which will include industry cooperation programs and cross-border internships.
