Abstract
Productivity can be determined from various factors that exist in the company. PT XYZ has a high rate of lost hours so that it can affect the company's productivity. High employee lost hours also have an impact on production targets that are always not achieved every month. Lost hours of employees can occur due to sick employees, permission, leave, being late or absent. The research was conducted at the painting and welding unit of PT XYZ. The method used in this research is the objective matrix. Based on the results of the study, there are still ratios with bad status, these ratios are indicated by ratio 2, ratio 3, and ratio 5 where these ratios are the ratios that show the lost hours of employees and the production results achieved by PT XYZ. There is a match between the real data obtained and the results of calculations using the objective matrix method. The fix for this problem is to increase the production output with the same input value. In addition, by disciplining employees so that the value of lost hours can decrease. This can be a solution to increase the productivity value of XYZ company.
