Abstract
E-books are part of technological advances that continue to grow and have many benefits, especially in reading skills in the classroom. This study aims to determine student responses to the use and constraints of e-books as a learning resource in reading classes for fourth-semester students of the Ahmad Dahlan University English Education Study Program.
This research uses quantitative methods. It surveyed 53 respondents who have used e-books. The data were collected through questionnaires comprising five items on a Likert Scale.
The results showed that 88.25% or 44 out of 53 students, responded positively and supported E-books as a learning resource. This indicates that the e-book is easy to use. By using good e-books, students can increase their creativity. The results showed that most respondents responded positively to the use of e-books. Students feel that e-books enhance their learning, are easy to use, and achieve learning satisfaction. In conclusion, using e-books as learning resources in reading classes positively impacts ease of access, comfort, and understanding of the material. This study recommends the use of e-books as one of the effective alternatives to improve the quality of learning in reading classes.
