Abstract

The temple is an ancient building as clear evidence of anceint society’s technology that was able to make strong buildings from magnificent, tall, and sturdy rocks. There are very few tourist visit to temples and the temples ini Yogyakarta are still not widely known by tourist, so it is necessary to make a search for information on temple tourism in Yogyakarta using natural language based on production rules so that tourists can search for information effectively.This study uses the method of production rules used to recognize human language which is implemented into the search system so that the results are in the form of a sentence or word that is understood by the system and humans.The research conducted resulted in a search for information on temple tourism using natural language based on production rules with teh ability to provide information on and in Yogyakarta with keywords in the form of word and sentences. Testing using Recall obtained a value of 100% from the accuracy of the data taken from the system being tested. Precision testing gets a value 86% from the accuracy of the data taken from the system being tested. The production rule test gets 100% results from the accuracy of the data tested on the system. This shows that the system created is suitable for use by tourists as a means of finding information on temples in Yogyakarta.
